Ron Johnsen

This is the man who was there from day one - Ron Johnsen, Recording Engineer and Executive  Director of the legendary Electric Lady Recording Studios is credited for giving Paul and Gene their big break that ultimately led to the introduction to producer Eddie Kramer. Eddie produced the 5 track demo that ultimately led to the First KISS album and ultimately stardom on a celestial scale!

But before all the fame and fortune, Ron had produced Paul and Gene's pre-KISS band Wicked Lester and, interestingly enough, Peter Criss's pre-KISS band Chelsea as well. You truly cannot go back any farther in history to find a person who molded and made the band what it is today. We cannot be more than thrilled and honored to have such a distinguished guest at the NJ/NY KISS Expo this year!
